Great for beginners and intermediates. No good for advanced skiiers or for people who like a lot of runs. Not very picturesque but maybe this was due to everything melting and not so much snow. Good shops in centre.

Everything about the holiday was amazing. Everything was sorted for us from start to finish from flights to train tickets to ski hire. Was so easy. Hotel was beyond brilliant with great, spacious accommodation and we had a holiday, not only a ski holiday. Wish we could afford to go every year! Ski school staff were brilliant, especially Christian. Boys were finishing ski school this year but said …

We love Geilo. It's easy to get to, and has a laid-back, family-friendly feel. It was lovely to see many of the same ski instructors there again, and have them recognise us.

An excellent place to stay, easily accessible from Oslo via train, and due to it being a small town there are plenty of places to eat and shop. English is widely spoken and the staff at the information centre are very helpful. Wide variety of skiing available from alpine, cross country, and ski touring.

Good ski instructors, lovely slopes. Only downside was due to ice we could not do the non-ski activities we had booked.

Lovely small quiet resort, great for ski slopes, well organised but relaxed. Plenty of food shops for self caterers . Arriving by train is fantastic and the journey there great. Greta runs for all abilites, not so much for advanced skiiers but lovely for intermediates and beginners. Lovely tree lined runs too.

Geilolia is lovely - very small and easy for beginner skiers to navigate and the ski in ski out position of Vestlia is nearly priceless.

The transport links between ski areas were a bit of a hassle, the bus was good but getting to the lift was awful as it was an ice rink in the car parks and not easy to navigate in ski boots and equipment. The ski school were really good, kind and helpful and I felt very relaxed leaving my 4 …

The runs are not challenging but appropriate for children, learners and returning older skiers. They groomed the slopes well and all personnel spoke good English and were pleasant and helpful.
