Fantastic - 2nd visit and loved it. Everything that could be ‘organised‘ was perfect. Weather not great - very windy on a few days - but beautiful Nevertheless. Excellent resort and ski instructors etc excellent.

A great base for a ski holiday with children. The ski lessons and hire in particular were of a very high standard and put French Alps resorts to shame. Travelling further afield in Geilo was straightforward using the free ski bus to access the other side of the valley and the village amenities. Everyone we met was resoundingly friendly and helpful, again in stark contrast to my previous experience…

Geilo was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The people were friendly and helpful, the slopes were quiet, which as first time skiers was a real bonus for us and we had picture perfect snow!

Excellent family resort. When windy, chair lifts closed which restricted skiing quite significantly. Runs are short.

Wonderful resort - gorgeous food and the staff are the best! Great pool - we loved the hot tub and the kids had a riot on the flume!

We really enjoyed Geilo. The ski school was great for the kids. There were enough things to do for my wife and baby who didn’t ski. We really enjoyed this resort.

The resort was beautiful, quiet and calm. Although plenty of people around it never felt crowded during meal times or when getting skiing equipment on. Indoor activities such as the pool and bowling were great fun and usually always available for when we wanted to use them. Geilo is perfect for families, particularly with children learning to ski. Our 2 children, 8 and 10, have spent 2 weeks there and are now competent skiers.

Lovely laid back resort with plenty of different slopes and activities to explore from husky rides, ice fishing and of course skiing!!! We went in April and had endless sunshine and blue skies and still lots of snow to ski on!
