Really nice place for kids or new skiers. Not high runs. Hotel was excellent. Covid rules just put a damper on things a little. But would like to take grandkids again.

Quiet, compact, walkable, picturesque; all that was missing was sufficient snow. Ski School was excellent, ski hiring process simple, relaxed and efficient. Not too many restaurants but plenty of supermarkets for the self caterer. And a stunning journey to the resort from Oslo by train.

Lovely resort - particularly for families and beginners. Very friendly and the Vestlia's location right by the lift was perfect.

Nice resort but snowfall poor this year. Vestila Resort was lovely and the breakfast was amazing.

Staying in the Vestlia Resort side of the resort gave immediate access to the slopes there, but a bus shuttle is required to get to the other side. The bus timetable makes it seem a little confusing - even the hotel staff were confused! There seems to be quite a lot available on the other side of the resort, but the short walk to the Spar by the bridge for snacks was quite manageable. The pistes w…

I almost don't want to tell anyone about this gem of a resort. Super resort, so very close to the lifts, everything was perfect for us. We will come again.

A divided ski area with fifteen or so runs outside the Vestilia Resort back door and a further fifteen or so ten minutes away on the other side of the valley. All the facilities were well maintained and effective with a clear focus on families, learners and intermediates.

Great skiing for beginners, loads of snow and great food. Easy to get to from Bergen airport on the train. Highly recommended.
