Perfect for beginners, on the south Vestlia resort side, a handful of more challenging runs on the Bardola side of the resort. Vestlia is perfect for young families, soft play in snow train kept the kids entertained the entire journey! It is a bit of faff changing trains at Oslo Central. Hotel has great stuff for kids' apres ski, from pool with slides and cinema and soft play room! We recommend the family rooms with bunks as have better views and sunny aspect. The adjoining rooms lack morning sun and partial views of slopes, however are a lot larger. Good selection of food for breakfast, dinner is a set a la carte meal. This gets a bit samey would suggest breaking it up and going into town or eat from bar menu. Spa is great best massage we’ve had in a l on g time. Make sure you allow enough time to use rest of spa facilities. Ski school is only an hour 20 per day, they also grouped one of our childrens intermediate snowboard lesson with a beginners group which meant he got nothing out of the week. The other children skiing didn’t really improve either during their lessons the instructors were hit and miss this year. Normally they are good! Overall much better time staying on Vestlia side than Bardola side!
