We split the holiday between 4/5 day’s skiing and 2 days city break in Oslo. We had such a good time.

Geilo is a beautiful village and we had access to the cross country tracks around the beautiful forest and lake . We are older skier's with not much experience and the green downhill slopes proved difficult for us.

A lovely family resort with variety of runs from Black to Green, which caters for all abilities within our family group.

Plenty of snow coverage with beautiful hills and lake setting. Safe for families and suitable for beginners. Lots of activities. I would recommend the dog sledding. The locals are very friendly and their English language skills are very good. I did not hear of any crime or negativity. This did not get a 5/5 purely because I am an advanced beginner and would ideally want more km of piste (blue runs…
