The British Travel Awards recognise the very best companies in the UK travel and tourism industry, with awards available across a number of categories, voted for by the public.

The UK's Best Tour Operator 2014-2020 in the Ski Club of Great Britain’s Consumer Research Survey

The Ski Club of Great Britain is a leading voice and community for British skiers, and we were delighted to win The UK's Best Tour Operator every year that the award ran (ending in 2020 with the pandemic). 

The award was given based on the highest average rating of service, rather than count of votes. While the award has now ended, we finished on a high - in the final year of running, we received a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 82 - a score over 50 is considered 'excellent' and a score over 70 is considered 'world-class'.

The secret to the success of Ski Safari is their honest appraisal of the resorts and accommodation. We were initially thinking of a 10 day trip to Big Sky and James Rivers advised we would find sise of the resort would be limited in terms of dining out. His advice was spot on. You can find restaurants, but over 10 days you would probably be repeating yourself. He also advised that staying in Jacks…

We had a few issues on our trip, but Andy Knights was extremely responsive and did every thing possible to resolve things. His responsiveness made us feel much better and we really had confidence in Ski Safari in the way he dealt with things. He offered compensation, which we said wasn't necessary, but insisted on buying us a meal which was absolutely lovely. The response made a huge difference…
