Despite the journey time, the effort is very definitely worth it. The perennial problem of crowds at the lifts up onto the mountain are there - but the system of using multiple lines (all equipped with complimentary tissues at their 'sniffle stations'!) and queue managers meant that everyone moved at the same rate. Excellent early season snow conditions brought out many from Vancouver for Sunday skiing but a ski lesson bypassed those lengthy queues.

Very lucky with the snow but that's in the lap of the gods. Slightly industrial feel of mountain restaurants didn't matter compared with amazing quantity, quality and variety of town. V friendly people everywhere.

This was one of the lowest snowfall years in the 14 we've been coming to Whistler, but Whistler Blackcomb resort did such a great job managing the mountain, we enjoyed one of our best holidays yet.

Had a super trip to Whistler end of March. Despite snow conditions being reported as worst in 10 years, there was still plenty of lovely snow in the Alpine. Never tire of visiting this lovely resort.
