Such an amazing resort! It didn't matter where you looked, there was always a beautiful view. Even with a totally mixed weather forecast, there was no day that we were bored or had nothing to do! The apres ski was brilliant as well as the skiing itself. Literally every staff member in the entire resort was extremely friendly, welcoming and great to talk to! In particular, a waitress in elements tapas bar who explained the tipping system and expectations out there! This was a trip of a lifetime and a perfect honeymoon! Thank you!

Wow, what a resort. Andy recommended Whistler to us for our honeymoon, as somewhere we could get in some great skiing and stay in a fabulous hotel. He was absolutely right, we had our best ever holiday and our accommodation was absolutely amazing. The snow was fantastic, there are so many runs for every type of skier, the ski school is brilliant, the scenery is stunning. There is tonnes of apres ski on offer and a huge wealth of restaurants serving every type of food and something for all budgets. We did some trips, booked through Ski Safari, and they were fantastic as well. We will be back as soon as possible! Massive thanks to Andy and Natasha for sharing their knowledge and booking us a trip of a lifetime.

Brilliant resort. Amazing mountains with so much area to snowboard we couldn't cover it all in 9 days! Great village with all sorts of retail shops alongside great restaurants, pretty much any food you can think of was there and coming from the UK it was all very reasonably priced. A couple of good supermarkets with everything you could need. The staff were lovely on piste the lift staff checked you were having a good day and were always smiling and there were lots of staff skiing around offering advice on the best runs of the day and where is sun was. In the town we didn't meet someone who wasn't helpful, waitresses couldn't do enough to help and go above and beyond what you would expect. Its a brilliant resort and all within about a 15 min walk of each other.

Despite the journey time, the effort is very definitely worth it. The perennial problem of crowds at the lifts up onto the mountain are there - but the system of using multiple lines (all equipped with complimentary tissues at their 'sniffle stations'!) and queue managers meant that everyone moved at the same rate. Once on the slopes, the pistes were well signed, although missing the familiar European method of informing you how much of the run remains from any one of the signs and, whilst we were there over Christmas, virtually empty. The 'Peak-to-Peak' from Whistler mountain to neighbouring Blackcomb gondola is an experience in it's own right, especially the glass-bottomed versions! So glad that this was in place, heaven knows how skiers got from one mountain to the other before it was built. The on-mountain catering was by a single franchise, so whilst this meant that there was a standard quality, consistency and price, it did somewhat limit the choice. Also, it was quite difficult to find a decent cappuccino!
