Laura Cotterill - Whistler
I'm not sure where to start or indeed what to say. I've skied throughout Europe and several other North American destinations but always come back to Whistler. Phenomenal array of runs; great village; delightful people and all in all, the best ski destination in my view!

A well set out ski area with a good variety of runs at various levels of difficulty. The 'peak to creek' was a thigh aching 7.2 km. mountain dining was varied, not over expensive and all venues we used offered free iced water. Downside: lift lines at weekends, especially with fresh snow fallen, were pretty awful. 50 minutes to get away from base gondola station at Creekside.

Whistler is a great resort with and excellent range of terrain (some of the best around). Being located in a costal rain forest, weather can play a big part in the overall quality of your stay. Whilst we didn't get much new snow , we did have low tempretures and sunshine which meant that everywhere had good snow, although getting a little thin on the lower slopes. On a good day after fresh snow W…

Whistler Excellent as ever and with the snowfall was out of this world. I've been before but the rest of the lads were blown away. For a group of mixed abilities and Boarders and skiers the two mountains enabled us to split up do our own thing and meet up again easily. The Wifi was also handy. Provided in abundance everything required for a good lads break.

Excellent skiing and very well managed with very high levels of safety management on the slopes. Politeness and good behaviour in the lift queues is a delight compared to our trips to European resorts. Après ski does not have the same atmosphere as Europe but is still great fun. The village has everything you need on a holiday and is lovely to walk around traffic free with sparkling lights everywh…

Great resort with plenty of varied runs with the village at the base of the mountain. Wide range of places to eat and drink.

This was our second visit to Whistler, we last visited five years ago. They had record breaking snow this year and extremely cold temperatures which is unusual. We had some fantastic blue sky days skiing, absolutely amazing; thoroughly spoilt. We also booked a beginners 'Cross Country Skiing' lesson in 'Lost Lake Park Whistler', something we've wanted to have a go at for awhile. It was great fun …

Ski area is superb in the range and challenge of the skiing available. Downsides are a tendency for queues at certain lifts on popular days and the possibility of inclement weather ( rain and flat light) because of the altitude. When it's good, it's very very good.
