I'm not sure where to start or indeed what to say. I've skied throughout Europe and several other North American destinations but always come back to Whistler. Phenomenal array of runs; great village; delightful people and all in all, the best ski destination in my view!

Whistler is a great resort with and excellent range of terrain (some of the best around). Being located in a costal rain forest, weather can play a big part in the overall quality of your stay. Whilst we didn't get much new snow , we did have low tempretures and sunshine which meant that everywhere had good snow, although getting a little thin on the lower slopes. On a good day after fresh snow Whistler would awesome.

Excellent skiing and very well managed with very high levels of safety management on the slopes. Politeness and good behaviour in the lift queues is a delight compared to our trips to European resorts. Après ski does not have the same atmosphere as Europe but is still great fun. The village has everything you need on a holiday and is lovely to walk around traffic free with sparkling lights everywhere.

This was our second visit to Whistler, we last visited five years ago. They had record breaking snow this year and extremely cold temperatures which is unusual. We had some fantastic blue sky days skiing, absolutely amazing; thoroughly spoilt. We also booked a beginners 'Cross Country Skiing' lesson in 'Lost Lake Park Whistler', something we've wanted to have a go at for awhile. It was great fun and trying to learn how to 'snow plough' again on very thin skis was hilarious, lots of falling over!! Unfortunately for us though on both of our visits to 'Whistler' we've experienced the rain, which does spoil things. The last four days of our trip were wet and although we did venture up the gondola one day it wasn't pleasant skiing back down to the village into rain. Never the less we had an amazing holiday and will no doubt visit again one day.
