As the rooms were more suited to business people - although very nice they weren’t particularly practical for guests on a skiing holiday. For example a big desk just talking up room in the corner. No washing line so it was hard to dry out gloves swimwear etc. The breakfast in the summit club was a lot better than I expected as there was a hot item served everyday, which was a nice surprise as it’s advertised as continental. It was nice to be able to help yourself to soft drinks throughout the day and we enjoyed the afternoon snacks. For us it was definitely worth paying for the summit club.

Nice hotel but looking a little tired but expect this to be addressed by the refurbishment program they have. Mantles restaurant was good for breakfast, the buffet was best value for money. Coffee not very nice. Although you had place to leave skis, had to take ski sticks and ski boots back to your room. There was no special place to put ski boots in room, if this is continued once refurbishment has been completed I would suggest a plastic tray for the boots to protect the carpet in the entrance to rooms.. Staff very polite and helpful.
