mazing snow conditions, relatively quiet small friendly resort. Everyone was quick to offer advice on routes both downhill and cross country. Lessons were good.

Skiing was only average for us but poor weather affected this. Seemed to be lots of tracks to get to some decent skiing, but visibility limited. Nice quaint village and enjoyed a few drinks here.

Excellent, people fab and wonder snow and conditions. Minimal restaurant choices and small shop, but had everything you needed. No nightlife, but again that suited us.

Cheaper than Revelstoke, food & beer cheaper, a family resort, with easy motorway skiing, but venture in the blacks, and plenty of challenges for all.

Just spent Christmas week at Silver Star. Very different from European skiing - lots of powder and even on the busiest skiing day of the year you often get a run entirely to yourself. Queues, if there are any, are short and fast moving with the exception of the magic carpet for beginners, whose queue is ridiculously long. Very safe and family friendly - there's no Folie Douce or Krazy Kanguru…

Very attractive resort, with lots of great and varied runs. The best thing about here is the My1 lift pass that covers you for everything: downhill, x-country, snowshoeing and even free tubing. Very friendly and a lovely mountain restaurant with the best pancakes.

A great resort for intermediate skiers. Lots of runs which are well groomed and were never busy. Even on Christmas Eve, which was the busiest day, we didn't have to queue for longer than 10 minutes at any chair lift. It snowed a bit most days with 17cm over one 24 hour period which meant we had great conditions for skiing.
