Our second time in Silver Star and it did not disappoint. Excellent skiing all round, plenty of snow and blue skies most days. Terrain is very varied with parts of the mountain to suit everyone. The only minor complaint is that it is a bit of a trudge over to The Back Side, although it is definitely worth it. Also great terrain, and very pretty - I especially liked the glade skiing in Deer Park, Gopher Glades and Spruce Meadows. Very pretty, compact resort centre with a reasonable choice of places to eat and drink in the evening - I especially liked The Den and the Bulldog.

Amazing place to ski. Lots of greens, blacks, blues. Amazing places to eat and all are accessible. Accommodation was incredible. All there own snow, they do not snow make - makes a massive difference! Ice skating and Tubing is included in your lift pass.

Great resort as not very busy. Might not have been so enjoyable had it been really busy as I can envisage large queues at the Comet lift which is one of the main ones in the resort.

The resort village is small. The store is small but has most things you need for basic self-catering, while Long John's bar was our favourite watering hole of the holiday! An excellent all round resort with a good mix of groomed and ungroomed runs, including several groomed blacks which were fabulous. Snow hosts were great at showing you around mountain and a lot of fun to ski with. My favourite of the resorts we have skied in Canada. Good selection of restaurants.

mazing snow conditions, relatively quiet small friendly resort. Everyone was quick to offer advice on routes both downhill and cross country. Lessons were good.
