Stunning views. Terrain very varied to cater for all levels including beginners but people who ski well will love tree skiing and off piste options especially when the powder falls. Can get foggy for days at a time but that's the trade off for the snow quality.

Have stayed here 3 times now so feel able to comment on it as an excellent ski destination as there are a large number of runs and types to suit all ski abilities/preferences and pretty much guaranteed powder snow! Totally rate Big White as an excellent resort. The mountain has a pretty diverse range of terrain with possibly only true extreme, double black diamond skiers maybe feeling a bit short changed although the "Cliff" area should be enough to keep them amused. We were a family of beginners and Big White was exactly right for us. It has plenty of green slopes, the instruction is excellent and behaviour on the slopes is courteous. During the week it seemed quite quiet, which probably helped.

Big White A superb family resort with excellent kids club/ski school. Ski in/ski out is superb and the conditions were as good as it gets. Food and drink are not rip-off prices either so all round a great resort.

Excellent resort, very quiet, runs and lifts not overcrowded even though it was Half Term. Good selection of restaurants however not as cheap as it used to be. Ski School for children one of the best

We stayed in Big White for 2 weeks in january, the resort was fully open even though on some days we seemed to be the only people on some of the runs, the snow was deep and powder, the people friendly, can't wait to go back

Big White has a huge ski area catering for beginner and intermediate skiers as well as plenty of off-piste for the experts. The resort is very friendly with well run ski school and kids' clubs. The weather can be beautiful but it can also be quite foggy for days at a time. Don't come to Big White for the wild night life but there are a number of good restaurants.
