Amazing resort for families that can ski blues and blacks. Lots of Kid activities. Everything is local and accessible. Resort shuttle bus is awesome but not really advertised. Good places to eat. Have to pay for Tubing and Ice Skating! Not included in the lift pass.

For the snowboarding it had great open areas at the top, wide open runs mid mountain and the Gem Lake Express runs are excellent. If we’d had fresh snow the Sun Rype Bowl would have been stunning. Amazingly un-busy resort at this time of year, even at a weekend! Big White had the largest village of the three resorts we visited. Clearly named Big White for a reason! Lots of wonderful white powdery snow on the ground, but some days a bit too much of it in the air too making it difficult to see where we were going. Ability to ski in/out (for all properties I think) is amazing and i’m not ever going back to carrying my skis to my accommodation! Lacking a bit in the way of restaurants- and variety of food within the restauran…

Very good. The whole ski area out to Gem Lake wasn't open for 2 days we were there which locals think was down to snow conditions. Boards markers indicated fewer runs open than there are when Gem Lake opened.

Excellent use of space. Not crowded, but on busy days the lift queues were very well organised. Plenty of mixed ability skiing. lots of forest runs.

Amazing skiing and snowfall even for late March. The best we have ever stayed in. The staff in the whole resort were amazing.

A great all round resort which gave us the opportunity to ski conditions we rarely see in Europe. Particularly enjoyed the tree skiing.
Several really good restaurants too. However it did live up to its Big Whiteout nickname, visibility was often poor to non-existent.
