Not a chateau as we know it but very comfortable, and excellent location. We had a loft kitchenette which was perfect for two, and very spacious. Excellent housekeeping and helpful staff: everything well organised and easy.

Well placed Hotel right in the centre of the village opposite the grocery store. Very easy ski out and if you get it right easy ski in. Rooms a good size and ours was equipped with hob, fridge and microwave which was great for self catering. Ski storage facilities were great.

Excellent hotel, wonderful room with bedroom on mezzanine floor. Access from heated ski room straight onto the slopes. All staff were very friendly and helpful, housekeeping team were incredibly cheery and friendly. the restaurant next to the hotel was excellent (ribs amazing).

Chateau on the Ridge was fantastic - great location on the piste, apartment was extremely well supplied with all (plus more!) requirements, very comfortable and clean.

7th time at Chateau Big White (all through Ski Safari) so we've seen all conditions. In 3 weeks in Jan 2009 we had just 1cm of fresh snow, but this served to demonstrate how good the grooming is in resort. The piste conditions were maintained superbly in spite of some very warm temperatures (up to +10C) for a week. When it does snow the snow quality cannot be beaten, but fog often accompanies the …
