4*+ Moose Hotel and Suites

We stayed in a suite, which is, effectively, an apartment. Catering options are limited to a fridge and microwave but that was fine for us. Storage, initially, we thought was a problem but actually was fine. We had quite a lot of clothing as we were there for over two weeks. There is a large 6 drawer unit, a wardrobe with hanging and more shelves, 6 hooks in the bedroom and a couple of small cabinets in the living area. Bathroom was spacious with a decent shower. Suite was cleaned daily, though often in afternoon or early evening. In room safe. The garage doesn’t have a proper boot room. We kept our skis in the garage locker but brought our boots into the room which worked ok. Gym, pool and hot tubs were good disco, though not huge. Restaurant and bar good though we only used the restaurant once for breakfast and once for dinner on the basis of so many other options in the town.

We have stayed here many many times and we do love it. Great location, ski bus stops next door at the Ptarmigan so that's easy. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the bathrooms in here are lovely and have a nice big shower. Hot tubs on the roof are just amazing, massive and they have that Rocky Mountain view which you just cant put a price on. Good fitness centre and a pool as well. The bar does a good Après deals but they do try and hide that, you have to ask between 2-5pm for the menu but it is worth the ask because the wine is $6.00 and an apperol spritz was $9 and thats all great value for Banff. Overall really nice hotel, very helpful staff even when we got home and i realised i left my hot water bottle behind. They called me to help me out.
