The Canoe Hotel and Suites sits in a quiet spot on Banff Avenue with views over the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
In 2024 it was completely refurbished, giving the interior a fresh and modern feel with subtle decorative hints to its namesake. Each spacious hotel room offers a little slice of luxury and comes with two queen beds or king, mini fridge, breakfast table and personalised coffee from Sudden Sally, the on-site restaurant and café.
After a long ski day, the rooftop hot pools and sauna offer you the chance to unwind and ease tired muscles, followed by a drink in hand, in front of the fire.
Sudden Sally serves drinks and light bites if you're looking for a chilled après ski. Happy Hour runs between 2 and 5pm daily for 50% OFF all drinks and small plates. The restaurant also serves hearty breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Plus, being next door to the 4* Otter Hotel, you don't have far to venture if you want to try their restaurant, Good Folk, to broaden your options.
The ski shuttle stops close by to the hotel so you won’t have far to go to ski some of the best terrain in Alberta.
