Located in the pretty Laurentian Mountains one and a half hour's drive north of Montréal, Tremblant is Eastern Canada's best known ski resort and a winner as a family holiday destination.
The skiing is appropriate for a mixed ability group and as Tremblant resort is compact, it is easy to get from your accommodation to the hill. The Telecabine takes you straight to the top of the mountain, from where you can ski back to the village on green, blue, black or double black runs, or head over to Tremblant's North side where the super half pipe and glade skiing can be found. The ski school is well organized and convenient.
Tremblant village is a tightly knitted clutch of brightly coloured buildings set along a pedestrianised street of boutiques and restaurants. At the bottom of the hill, Vieux-Tremblant has enticing cafes and bistros housed in cosy wooden cabins.
At the end of the ski day the village often becomes an open-air theatre complete with fire-eaters, clowns on stilts, and live music. Other entertainment includes skating on Lac Miroir, the excellent 'La Source' water fun park and a cinema showing the latest releases.
Private Transfers - Avoid waiting for your transfer at the airport by upgrading to a private transfer - this is particularly recommended for the outward journey.
