Skiing holidays to
Tremblant Canada

Expert Opinion

"I really like Tremblant as it is so easy to get to. It has a distinctly French feel but with the Canadian level of service. Don’t miss the Scandinave Spa near the resort with its hot & cold pools and the chance to jump into a half frozen river. Tremblant is also perfect for a combined break with Montreal for great shopping in the underground malls."

Located in the pretty Laurentian Mountains one and a half hour's drive north of Montreal, Tremblant is Eastern Canada's best known resort and a winner as a family holiday destination.

The skiing is appropriate for a mixed ability group and as the resort is compact, it is easy to get from your accommodation to the hill. The Telecabine takes you straight to the top of the mountain, from where you can ski back to the village on green, blue, black or double black runs, or head over to Tremblant's North side where the super half pipe and glade skiing can be found. The ski school is well organized and convenient.

The village is a tightly knitted clutch of brightly coloured buildings set along a pedestrianised street of boutiques and restaurants. At the bottom of the hill, Vieux-Tremblant has enticing cafes and bistros housed in cosy wooden cabins.

At the end of the ski day the village often becomes an open-air theatre complete with fire-eaters, clowns on stilts, and live music. Other entertainment includes skating on Lac Miroir, the excellent 'La Source' water fun park and a cinema showing the latest releases.

Private Transfers - Avoid waiting for your transfer at the airport by upgrading to a private transfer - this is particularly recommended for the outward journey.
