Quebec is best known for its nature and food - there are lots of national parks in the area. It's easy to hire a car and drive around - also try a "flavour trail" to take in the famous maple syrup and sugar shacks. The St Lawrence River runs alongside the city and depending on the time of year you can see icebergs or whales!
It’s a hugely vibrant city as well, hosting one of the biggest winter carnivals in the world.

Aquarium du Québec - See nearly 10,000 fish, reptiles, invertebrates and marine animals, including the polar bear, walruses and seals. This site has superb indoor and outdoor spaces, and a picnic area, splash pad and adventure trail for children. Check out the Pavillon des Profondeurs, where you can touch jellyfish, seahorses and rays.
Parc de la Chute-Montmorency - Located just a few minutes from Old Québec, the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is an attraction you will not want to pass up. The waterfall is an awe-inspiring 83 m/272', a full one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls.
