Skiing holidays to
Panorama Canada

Expert Opinion

"Panorama is a purpose built resort with convenience in mind - almost everything is ski-in ski-out! The terrain is best suited for beginners and intermediates. RK Heli-Ski operates from the base of this mountain and seeing the wolves at the Wolf Education Centre is a must."

Panorama skiing holidaysTucked in a snowy nook, just two hours drive south west of Banff, Panorama has 4,000 vertical feet of terrain and superb accommodation surrounded by spectacular peaks.

The skiing is particularly good for intermediates, although the off-piste Taynton Bowl will challenge even the best skiers. This winter sees the addition of new fast quad chairs, cutting the time it takes to reach the top of the mountain.

As most of the accommodation is ski-in ski-out, you will be at the summit ready for your first run, minutes after getting out of bed. We highly recommend Panorama's luxury 'gold' and 'gold premium' properties including the Ski Tip and Tamarack Lodges and Panorama Springs which have the best location and are close to the excellent pool complex.

The village is compact and has a bar and Pub and restaurants serving pizza and burgers, as well as smarter fare. There is a regular shuttle bus to the nearby town of Invermere where there are more restaurants and a supermarket.

A great all-rounder - Looking for a smaller resort that offers excellent ski-in ski-out accommodation, no lift queues and good value for money, all accessed by 1 direct flight from the UK? Panorama has it all.

HELI-SKIING Panorama is the perfect place to try heli-skiing for the first time - RK heli-ski are based right in the resort and offer heli-skiing on a day basis. Flying into the Purcell Mountains, the operator has access to more than 1700 square miles of open snow fields, glaciers and gladed trees with runs varying from 1600 to 6500 vertical feet. The standard day package includes 3 descents, fat-boy ski rentals, breakfast, picnic lunch and certificate. Additional runs can be arranged on the day. Alternatively you can book the Elite package which includes 5 descents.

Ski the Powder Highway

There is a transfer on Wednesdays between the 16 January and 26 March linking the following resorts: Kicking Horse, Panorama, Kimberley and Fernie. This enables you to ski 2 or more resorts (depending on the length of your stay) without the need to hire a car.
