We are expanding our busy sales departments and are looking for two people to join us, one for our Ski Safari North America ski programme and one for our Freedom Treks cycling programme. This is a great opportunity to further your career with a varied role working for an innovative, specialist tour operator.
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator position with Ski Safari is primarily a sales role, tailor-making holiday packages to resorts across the USA and Canada to match our customers’ requirements. We are looking for candidates who are passionate skiers/riders themselves, and who have established office experience and preferably tele-sales experience, which does not necessarily have to be from within the travel industry. Experience of skiing/riding in the North American ski resorts is beneficial.
A key aspect of this role is being the link between our sales and marketing teams, providing package prices and detail for special offers to be advertised on our website and included in our marketing output, and managing the content on our websites. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage and you should have excellent writing skills and style and attention to detail.
The Sales Coordinator role with Freedom Treks involves both sales and tour co-ordinating. You will be talking to our customers and advising them on which of our 200+ cycling tours across Europe will best suit them, and tailoring the standard tours by adding on pre- and post-tour city stays. Once a tour has been booked, you will be working with our suppliers to make sure all the arrangements for a fantastic cycling holiday are in place and then sending out tickets and tour details to the customer. This role is highly varied and you will be involved in keeping our website up to date, managing our supplier relationships and contributing to marketing output.
We are looking for someone who is a keen cyclist themselves. You will have some sales experience, possibly having worked in a similar cycling holidays sales role before, and will have travelled extensively through Europe, ideally on two wheels!
We are recruiting now for an immediate start for both roles. Salary will be from £20k dependent on experience, plus generous performance bonus. Full training will be provided, including fam trips overseas to experience our product.
