This was our first visit to Steamboat Springs and our first ever time skiing in the USA having skiied mainly in Swiss resorts. I doubt many people only visit Steamboat once and it is a place that you fall in love with. The mountains are spectacular and even though there are only 16 ski lifts, the ski area is massive - we didn't ski it all in 8 days!. Everyone you come into contact with is genuinel…

The Steamboat Ski School was superb - the best we have ever had in the USA by a long way. The tuition and coaching was at a very high level; there were four people in our group and we took extra days at a very competitive price. Every evening we took the free hotel shuttle into town - the choice of restaurants and pubs was very good.

This is our second visit to Steamboat. This time we took other family members who were not disappointed. The whole experience was wonderful, flights, transfers (although an hour late on pick up as the driver lost his keys), accommodation both hotel and lodge, nice to have a comparable between the two - think we preferred the lodges as more homely and cosy for the whole family. Excellent resort, friendly and helpful staff, superb facilities, fabulous skiing. I would return to this resort and be happy to recommend the resort to friends and family.

Steamboat was magic, the snow was fantastic and the weather was awesome. Two very snowing days then sun from then on in! - It really doesn’t get any better than that. We have sun tans!!

One of our favourite mountains, great skiing, plenty of new snow so good powder skiing, nice town, nice people (which could be said for all).

Possibly the best resort we have been to. Plenty of accessible, intermediate runs, and plenty of testing black runs. The vibe in the resort is nice and laid back. We really hope to go back soon.
