We stayed at The Canyons. Overall it is very small and quiet, with a self contained base area. We did not hire a car initially, but decided to after a couple of days. The main reason for this is that we were staying in self catering accommodation and aside from a (very small) shop in one of the hotels there was nowhere to buy any food at the Canyons. The free bus service did stop near to a larg…

Great Resort, lots of amenities. Easy to self cater and lots of really good restaurants. Very easy to get around without a car, buses very frequent.

Trip to/from Salt Lake City was a joy, and very quick at 45 mins. Top tip for teens: ask to stop off at East High School in SLC (where High School Musical was filmed). We skied for 7 days, and with Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley to choose from, we didn't cover many areas more than once. Its huge!

We visited Park City over Easter 2016. It was the first time we'd skied America and it was wonderful. Good conditions, good variety of terrain, empty pistes. Take the free historic ski tour if you get a chance. It's a great introduction to the resort.

Accommodation may have free transport around town and between resorts which is excellent, as well as free public transit buses. Excellent for all levels, but need to get out early to catch any unskied powder. On slope guides and lift at…

Timberwolf Lodge apartments - very comfortable, very high standard, decor rather OTT! Reasonably close to walk to Canyons Cabriolet lift and fairly good bus connections for shopping.

Good resort with lots of skiing and also other resorts close by. Deer Valley was excellent. Friendly, well kept pistes with some great staff. Expensive lift pass for the day but worth it. Coffee was nearly half the price of Park City so recouped a couple of dollars!
