Big mountain with a good variety of skiing

Excellent ski area. Lives up to it's name. Quite a large town, area wise, with a great variety of very good restaurants.

Fantastic all round resort with lots of terraine for all abilities

Vast array of terrain. Plenty of variety providing ample opportunity to find a run that suits. On the downside, it can be quite windy. This has the effect of robbing some runs of the good snow and spreading some of the smaller stones onto the run (disappointing when you are running on brand new skis). But there is plenty of scope to avoid when you know the troublesome spots.

Top, top resort with great off-piste and groomed runs. Brilliant skiing. Runs off the very top were great. Town is OK - yoga not as good as Squaw! June is a fabulous little gem, great for an easy day when you're feeling tired.

Fantastic ski area with friendly interesting people. Great resort, big town but free shuttle bus for transport. Hotel/accommodation, this was very good and included outside heated pool and three Jacuzzi's . Most importantly right by the lifts so a true ski in ski out experience.

BIG mountain & good lift system & the Eagle Lodge area was quiet, had great runs & linked well across the rest of the mountain. We arrived just after the massive snowfalls in mid march, so great spring snow / packed powder.

Massive ski area great mountain, unfortunately for us we only skied 1x 1/2 day and a 2 runs as it dumped 7ft snow in resort while we were there, and an avalanche closed the mountain. We will go back to ski properly.

Love it here, been before. Not a lot to do if not skiing, didn't bother us , but our friends who didn't ski as much wanted more shops.
