Had a wonderful time in Breckenridge for 3 weeks in January 2012. The town has lots of character and everybody was really pleasant. Lots of good eating places, especially Bubba Gump's. The slopes have something for everyone. We are 2 couples with differing abilities, the guys like bowls and off piste and us girls like big wide tree lined pistes. Unlike Europe, we have more confidence as we know there is always someone to help whether it be the lift operators or the numerous ski patrollers. By far this is the best all round place to go.

Breckenridge lovely and good skiing although very dissapointing lack of snow meant only 30% runs open - had been led to expect more. Location of los pinos really suggests a welcome food basket is necessary - way too far to supermarket after long flight - just breakfast for the next morning would have been great!! Overall fabulous holiday - enjoyed by all 5 of us - hadnt really expected it to be so expensive in resort though!!

We stayed at the Village in Breckenridge, flew with BA and transfer with Mountain Express. The flight was fine, the transfer great and the accommodation cosy and spacious. The thing that made this the easiest and best ski holiday we have had was the slope and ski school were less than a minute from the apartment block. Never has getting the children to ski school been so easy and after a long journey that was brilliant. The ski school was fantastic and the classes small. The slopes were empty and no lift queues. Everyone we meet was helpful and friendly. Breckenridge is pretty and accessible on foot. Would we go back? Definitely. Thanks to Ski Safari.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks in Breckenridge. The ski area is huge and has something to offer everyone whatever level. The altitude took a couple of days to get used to, I would suggest drinking plenty of water and use lots of moisturiser! Customer service throughout the resort is fabulous. Our children used the ski school which was well run with a high standard of teaching if not a little pricey. A good selection of eateries to suit all budgets and tastes. Special mention must go to Mimi's which sells the most amazing ice cream. Also if you are going late March/April all the shops have up to 40% off all ski wear so you can get real bargains if you need kit. Only down point is that we had to come home!!

.a ski instructor directed us to a minimaly off the track table service restaurant at the base of Peak 9 at Breckenridge (Spencers). It was WAY better than the self service mountain restaurants/bun fights. The food was above average, the service and ambience excellent and the price no more expensive thatn the mountain restaurants. Definietely to be reccommended++++, but could/would be easily overlooked if not pointed out.....
