A fabulous resort, ski-ing across 4 seperate peaks that are all easily linked across the pistes. An old mining town, Breckenridge has an interesting historical side to it if you can tear yourself away from the slopes! The city of Denver is only 1-2 hours away via an easy drive along just one interestate.

An excellent self contained ski resort. Ski shuttles take you everywhere you need to go and the slopes are extensive and serve all levels of ability, with very short, organised queues!

We have skied in Breckenridge a few times now and really love this resort. Constantly read the skiing is not challenging for expert skiers but don't agree with this - there is lots of difficult stuff to do. The ski school is excellent - our kids really improve here and love going. Downsides - cost of food on the hills and in the town other than Eric's.

We have been to Breckenridge twice now and come away each time determined to go back which unusual for us as we rarely go to the same place twice. The skiing is excellent and caters for all abilities, wide open slopes and nowhere near as crouded as in Europe. We were definitely 'Green' skiers when we first went but have progreessed to confident 'Blues'. The town is great, so many nice bars and res…

A great village - easy to get to from Denver and not too far to travel after the long flight. Lots of local shops as well as a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The biggest incentive about being in Breckenridge is having the ski pass cover the other ski slopes of Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone etc - all of which we visited and were well worth it - particularly Vail and Beaver Creek. So, if you f…

Nice little, compact, resort. It gets busy at weekends with extensive queuing at lifts. The altitude takes a bit of getting used to. The terrain is great for park and pipe, beginners and experts. Intermediates may be a bit disappointed and should spice up their trip by using the free 30 min shuttle bus to Keystone's slopes.

Breck never fails to satisfy. This year (Jan 2010), snow was not as good as previous - but not good by Breck standards is still very good by European standards! Town is very good and right under the slopes - lots of variety of food and shopping. Free transport around town and to Keystone and A Basin, if you need it. Ski-skool excellent, friendly and fun as ever (if a bit pricey). Usual laidback mi…

Breckenridge is an old mining town with lots of character. It has a very efficient and well-organised bus service and lift system for ski-ing and most accommodations are reasonably close to the slopes. I stayed in Mountain Thunder Lodge with a ski-in/ski-out system. There are 4 peaks at Breckenridge which specialise in intermediate and advanced runs. The restaurants and apres-ski facilities are li…

James has arranged my Whistler and Breck tips. I have just booked yet again for Vail. His knowledge, advice and help are beyond what I would expect from any travel agent. I think this year we had James change our requirements three times before finally settling on his initial recommendation (without a word of complaint). Excellent customer service. I will continue to use Ski Safari for many years …
