Great ski resort with plenty of varied runs on different parts of the mountain. 3pm cookies a definite winner after a hard day's skiing.

Excellent resort, my only criticism would be that there is not that much to do in the evenings. There is a limited number of restaurants, bars and shops.

I agree with most of the comments, Beaver Creek is not exactly cheap, but,you get what you pay for - "not exactly roughing it". St. James Place condo's were fantastic. The slopes are v.v. good, but Vail is a much more extensive resort with back bowls. However, I have been to B.C. 7 times - enough said. Use Ski Safari Extras to reduce Lift passes to an acceptable level. There can be lines at the Vi…

Superb upscale ski resort, perfect for families with pedestrianised village centre. Easy access to ski school, lifts etc. Ski school very well organised with excellent standard of tuition. Overall, highly recommended

Great resort for families and beginners/learners. Ski school was excellent and Beaver Creek has lots of green runs to help assist you to progress gradually onto easier blue runs. Plenty of other things to do also and a variety of places to eat during the evening. I must mention the free warm cookies at 3pm-3.30pm as you come down from the slopes - absolutely fantastic! Also has people wearing red …

Rated really highly. Superb for children, beginners and families generally. Did not think that the food in restaurants was great and so went out to Edwards and Avon on a couple of occasions.

We stayed in Beaver Creek - xmas and new year 2006. It is as beautiful as you read about. Skiing is amazing. No queues ever. They groom the runs for 20 hours a day. Perfect corduroy. Ski over to Bachelors Gulch and Arrowhead easily. Did i mention free cookies at three o clock at the base of the mountain. Service is impeccable. Loved it

I have been to beaver creak twice now and really cannot find a better place to ski.
