Hotel Daniela is a small, alpine style hotel with only 23 rooms - all freshly renovated and with a modern, comfortable, clean feel.
The rooms are particularly quiet and feature rustic-chic furnishings and wood-panelled ceilings, in addition to flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, sitting areas and en-suite bathrooms. Some have balconies with mountain views. Apartments add extra bedrooms and balconies.
It hasn’t lost its character - it remains very relaxed compared to other Zermatt hotels. It’s about 10 minutes from both the main lifts and the Gornergrat railway, in a quiet part of town. You can also add on the half-board dine-around at sister hotels Alpenhof and Julen and have access to the spas in each. The Daniela recently (January 2019) renovated its own spa area, which looks stunning.
