Overall a success. Rooms on the small side, but well designed. Ideally we would have had different ones, not right behind the apres-ski band, but we booked late. Great food and friendly. Excellent position.

Extremely helpful staff, great location, fantastic breakfast, lively apres ski in late afternoon but not intrusive if you didn't want to take part as could not be heard from rooms.

Sweden Are And The Arctic:We were delighted that we stayed at Hotel Fjallgarden rather than Hotel Aregarden feeling really in the centre of things even though we were on the periphery (!) the live band, excellent food, views over the lake let alone the funicular all added to the experience.

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location with ski in/ski out. Easy to get to and from the village via the train that runs all day. Room was large, clean and comfy. Great food and apres 4-6 everyday if you like.
