Skier but would like to try my hand at snowboarding. I back myself not to be awful at it!

I learned to ski in my early teens and have been out on a few trips to the Alps since.

I'm always happy in the mountains but my favourite moment has to be skiing home from après with friends all wearing Primark fairy lights - we looked like group of skiing Christmas trees!

The Continental Divide Ski Safari has to be my favourite - combining two resorts in the Canadian Rockies, you get the perfect mix of the bustling town of Banff with three ski areas to explore vs the quieter ski-in ski-out resort of Panorama. You really can't go wrong with this ski safari.

This year I was lucky enough to visit Whistler, Banff and Narvik. If you're looking for something extra special, Narvik has a beautiful ski area with some amazing views. Plus, you get the added bonus of telling your friends you've skied in the Arctic Circle!

No trip plans yet for next season, but Japan is high on the list of places I'd love to ski - hoping to try out our new addition to the Japan program - the Hakuba Valley Ski Safari.

I actually learned to ski in the desert. My first snow experience and all my lessons were in Ski Dubai. I didn't get let loose in the Alps until a few years later on a school trip to Switzerland. Safe to say the views are better in the Alps!
