Ski/ boarding history
First hit the slopes at 15 when I spent time on a few school ski trips and then completed a ski season in Austria in winter 13/14.
Favourite Ski Safari
It would have to be the Okanagan Explorer safari as it offers three great resorts all on one trip. The pictures of Silver Star, Big White and Sun Peaks always look like they have been taken straight from Narnia especially with the completely snow covered trees or “snow ghosts” as the locals call them.
Best mountain moment
Taking a scenic helicopter ride over the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains near Zermatt. It was my first time in a helicopter and the experience will be one that I will not forget any time soon. Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking!
Last resorts visited
Nozawa Onsen, Hakuba and Tokyo back in March 2023.
Next trip
Watch this space - but I would love to see the Northern Lights and Norway on a future trip.
Interesting fact
When I was younger, I saw the Space Shuttle Discovery launch while I was in Florida.
