Trysil was perfect for the whole family from beginner to more advanced skiing skills.

Trysil, was family friendly with a variety of slopes for all aptitudes, with over 70km of piste and more going through the trees. It gave the whole family a challenge from zipping through the trees to gentle coasting runs. However its not great for snow boarders as a couple of the transition areas are very flat and even for skiers poling was required. Ski school staff were friendly and supportive. The eateries both on and off the slope were great with a variety of both price and food types. All have adopted QR codes to both order and pay to make choosing easier. There was a good amount of snow during the week. We would definitely go back.

Great resort for beginners and whilst visibility was a bit challenging on a number of days, the snow conditions were fantastic with a good amount of fresh snow on most days. Getting to the 9am lessons was a bit of a challenge with the lifts not opening till 9am and being quite busy first thing. The bus leaves at 8:15 and gets to the lessons by 8:20 so there's a lot of time waiting around. Having a shuttle for the lessons or even just opening up the button lifts for those attending ski school a few minutes earlier would be very helpful and alleviate the morning stress.

This was our 3rd visit to Trysil. We had considered trying another Scandinavian resort this time, but children wanted to go once more..halfway through holiday they all said can we go again next year? They all love the variety of runs and close proximity to each other to mix things up each time as well as never takes too long to get back to the base area from any of the 4 sides. They like being able to leave the piste from blue to black runs and ski through the trees or do various levels of fun parks with kickers, boxes, burns etc.. And never any worry about falling off steep cliffs.

10 out of 10, short flight, transfer coach very organised, lovely hotel with pool, spa, bowling and pool tables, good snow & wide range of slopes, hardly any ski lift queues, ski in & out very helpful, lovely people & delicious food, thank you for recommending.
