Excellent resort and accommodation.

Absolutely perfect for beginner to intermediate skiers and young children. Advanced skiers who with the be challenged should go elsewhere. Black runs are middle of the road difficulty wise and short. Resort is very accommodation centric….not much in the “town” (aka 1 street). Genuinely great destination but ensure you understand what it is and, more importantly, what it is not.

The resort is great with a selection of runs to suit all standards of skier. All these are accesable directly from our hotel.

For skiers up to decent intermediate level, there is a wealth of opportunity to shape the experience to suit. A pleasing variety of runs generally affords all skiers time and space to play and the overall atmosphere is a delight.

An extensive ski resort with a good network of ski lifts although there are a few too many long T bar drag lifts. The runs are long and well groomed with many through the trees that provide a contrast in poor visibility.

Really great, good snow, variety of runs, hard to book lesson/guide that week if hadn't prearranged them.

Trysil was perfect for the whole family from beginner to more advanced skiing skills.

Trysil, was family friendly with a variety of slopes for all aptitudes, with over 70km of piste and more going through the trees. It gave the whole family a challenge from zipping through the trees to gentle coasting runs. However its not great for snow boarders as a couple of the transition areas are very flat and even for skiers poling was required. Ski school staff were friendly and supportive…
