Resort was great for family skiing, lots of long runs for different abilities.

Lots of large quiet slopes. Great to beginners and intermediates. The kids loved the fun park and night skiing was great too. The only downside was the number or t bar and button lifts.

Trysil is a lovely resort. Their ski terrain suits all abilities. We absolutely loved it & will return again & again.

Beautiful resort that has a bit of everything. So good for the young ones to learn on lovely wide slopes and fun tree runs to play in. Everybody we came across on resort was so friendly and helpful. The only problem comes when the wind is strong and some of the high chairlifts don't run causing a few jams getting around the mountain.

Trysil is a fabulous resort, ski in ski out lodgings, plentiful slopes, awesome snow and really friendly Scandinavians.

Perfect resort for our first family ski holiday. Fabulous ski school with lovely instructors and great green runs for the kids to practice on. Slopes were wide, uncrowded and many beautifully tree-lined. We found everyone to be very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the queues for the chairlifts which were quite long, although it was half term.

We went at half term which clashed with a Danish holiday (and Sweden too I think) which made Trysil incredibly busy and not the quiet alternative to the Alps that we were looking for. However, if you could avoid the crowds the snow was first class and the variety of runs surprisingly good. From the smooth & comfortable transfer from Oslo to the beautifully groomed, wide slopes, Trysil surpassed our expectations for a family ski holiday. The kids loved their ski school instructors. So happy, we immediately booked a return trip!
