We had a fantastic trip to Myrkdalen. It's a great little spot for a family ski holiday, large enough to give everyone challenges and exploring excitement during the week but small enough to nip back to the hotel if anyone needs a quick break. A fantastic place to visit if you want to escape the crowds. Monday to Thursday is unbelievably quiet and almost has a feel of a private resort. Perfectly prepared slopes and if you wish loads of easy access off piste. Enough variation for all abilities and a bit of a special place.

Beautiful little local resort, very well groomed slopes with a lot of off piste skiing, very quiet during the week, good for beginners and intermediates.

We go to Myrkdalen for the powder snow, but unfortunately this year it rained for 2 days with little fresh snow in the week otherwise, so it wasn't our best trip there.

A small resort by European standards but two 6 seater chairs meant no queues when we were there. Eerily quiet in Mid January during the week, busier at weekends.

Myrkdalen is a compact resort with the ski-lifts literally on the doorstep. We only explored a small number of the pistes in our time here and are planning to return soon. The range of bars and restaurants is limited but for a family skiing holiday it was perfect.

Lots of runs open. Although not as big as Trysil where we have previously been it did not feel like we got bored. There was also night skiing every night and we never queued for a lift the whole week.

The resort is very small, Good location on the slopes but make sure you bring all medical supplies with you as there are no pharmacies within 10km.

Wonderful resort 20mins from Voss. Great snow conditions and quiet slopes make it ideal for familys. the resort is not large but is all the better for it.

Myrkdalen is a small resort with only 22 slopes in total. We were unlucky with snow levels and there were only a limited number of slopes open for skiing.
