Was great to ski in Norway. Scenery and location was stunning. The only downside was that approximately 1/3 of the runs were closed so it meant it could get quite busy, especially after lunch.

Thank you so much for the best ski holiday we have had since having kids. The accommodation was lovely, ski school was top quality, equipment hire was great, and there was enough skiing for us parents to ski the whole map during the week. We are already talking about returning to Norway again.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Hemsedal. It is the smallest ski resort we have visited, but still had a good selection of runs and the snow was the best we have seen in years.

There were some fantastic long green runs for beginners. That was the main reason I chose Hemsedal. We thoroughly enjoyed the 'multi rental', you can change your choice of skis/board twice a day, We rented a locker for our boots and skis, right at the bottom of the slopes. Invaluable, it makes such a difference not having to walk back and forth in the heavy boots and carrying skis! We didn't have …

Good skiing if not limited in size, but we knew that. Got lucky with the snow, almost made the bumps too big! Only negative was the severely out of date bus timetables on the Hemsedal website - not Ski Safari's fault. This cost us £20 for the 2 mile taxi trip back to the resort after eating in the town one evening, we finally managed to get hold of a taxi where the operator barely spoke a word of …

We didn’t have as much snow as there would usually be at that time of year so no off piste skiing. The resort is really well organised, great ski hire.

Hemsedal is in a beautiful location with great views from the top of the slopes. It's a relatively small resort (at least compared to those in the Alps) but that was ideal for skiing with my son (8). He particularly enjoyed the fun ride (a slope with bumps and jumps). We also enjoyed skiing along a long quiet run into Hemsedal village, where there is a regular ski bus back to the main ski area.
