Remaining in the same family for over 100 years, it is now run by the 5^th generation of the Nermo family. Johannes and his wife Susan are wonderful hosts and will ensure you have a memorable stay.

Nermo Hotel prides itself on serving high-quality Norwegian food. Everything is homemade and based on local ingredients, taking inspiration from Norwegian recipes and specialities. The moose sandwich and homemade apple cake accompanied with a local craft beer is one of the hotel’s signature dishes.

Located in peaceful surroundings above the ski centre on a farm in Øyer, it’s possible to ski back to the hotel on a small track and is just a short walk to the slopes each morning.

The hotel was very good with a lovely warm atmoshere. The staff were very friendly and helpful providing me with lots of information when i enquired about various things. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the evening meals were delicious.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. Ideal if you are wanting traditional Norway. Ski-in / Ski-out not guaranteed as the ski road not always open, but there is a limited local skis bus alternative. The ski bus requires contactless card payment.

We didn't actually stay in the hotel but in self catering apartments associated with it. Nice, clean and spacious apartments with only a short walk into town. We benefitted from having a hire car to drive to the slopes every day with our skis. The yard right outside the apartment was very icy all week which made it difficult to walk in and out of the apartment especially when carrying luggage.
