In the centre of the village and close to the slopes, the Hafjell Hotel has comfortable rooms, friendly staff and serves an award-winning breakfast.

With appealing communal areas and friendly staff, the Hafjell Hotel has a homely atmosphere. It’s close enough to walk to the slopes as a warm-up each morning, or just hop one stop on the ski bus. We recommend you rent a locker at the base area so you can leave your equipment there if you're walking.

Families have free access to the adjoining Lekeland soft play area which has been specially designed for children up to 12 years and features a play area covering approximately 800 square metres.

With a private fridge in each room and a supermarket just next door, it’s easy to keep a few snacks and drinks for the week.

It’s worth noting that free access to Lekeland is in the evenings (usually 19:00-21:00). During other times you receive a 50% discount.

The Hafjell hotel is fine, friendly staff great food, we were half board. Breakfast was good, dinner was a fixed menu but always good. A daily menu might have been useful in case you wanted to plan an evening out. The rooms were acceptable but could do with a refurbishment of soft fabrics and carpet. Bathroom and shower were excellent.

Room was clean, comfortable and within a 5-10 minute walk of the slopes. I would stay there again. The food was plentiful and very good.
