Lovely hotel, great rooms thoughtfully laid out for family requirements, nice size. The pool and other facilities were perfect for our family the boys loved the pool and water slide. Staff were professional and very friendly, food and wine amazing too. The only negative was when we arrived to check into the hotel given our transfer time it was around 7pm and a number of guests had already arrived earlier in the day and pre-booked their diner slots for the week leaving our family 9pm sittings or 5pm, super late or early. This meant frustratingly we had to finish skiing up for the day earlier than we would have liked to be sat for dinner at 5pm as our children would not have lasted until 9pm for dinner. I appreciate that they needed to stagger the sittings for dinner but think they needed a better system to allow for everyone to get at least 1-2 meals at their preferred time across the week.

Amazing place to stay. The Vestlia has a very cosy atmosphere, with plenty of places to sit and chill with a drink. The restaurant is amazing, breakfast buffet is plentiful. Also offers a pool, cinema for kids, bowling and spa. It is situated right at the bottom of the slopes, literally 1 minute walk to the rental shop and the ski school meeting points. The only reason I knock off a star, is that the experience you have depends on what room you get, the older rooms are completely different to the rooms in the new wing, they really could do with renovating them to the same standard. As long as you book carefully you will love this place!

Due to Covid restrictions the added extras - play area, bowling etc were not available, however the pool was lovely. A booking system was in place with a limit of 30 guests. You could use the showers but all belongings had to be brought pool side. The flume was an added bonus. Pitch black to start then multicoloured LED's. It's unsupervised, just using a red/green light system. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Remember to bring USB adapters as the Norwegian USB cables just plug in to sockets! Likewise electric tooth brushes will need an adapter as no shaver points. We found the rooms a little dark and wish that the furniture (wardrobes) was not black as it was difficult to see inside without using a torch! The restaurant was well served by very polite waiters and waitresses. The food was very tasty too. We enjoyed the Christmas buffet very much indeed.
