The hotel is well known for its food and Sofia's Café & Bar is very popular amongst locals. They bake their own bread, have an amazing pastry chef and smoke their own fish too! The property has a good range of facilities, rooms, and is close to the slopes too - a 10 minute walk or short ski bus ride away. You can ski back to the hotel from Havsdalssentere.

The communal areas of the hotel had a very Nordic feel, full of traditional charm. The hotel staff were friendly and most helpful ensuring our stay was very enjoyable. Tea and coffee was freely available throughout the day and the family suite had plenty room for the four of us to share without feeling cramped. Lots to do for kids as it was Easter week with entertainment and a games room. Food was superb. Room had everything we needed and staff were really helpful and friendly.

Room spacious, comfortable, very clean and modern. Food was fresh and varied with excellent service and presentation. It was a nice touch to have hot drinks available during the day. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Pool and health facility clean and welcome after a day on the slopes, deserves more than 3 stars (excellent setting)
