Niseko lives up to its reputation as a fantastic ski resort. It snowed every day or night we were there and there was more powder than you could shake a stick at. Weather very changeable and lifts vulnerable to closure if windy. Alternative link via resort buses which we didn't use. Lots of skiing to be had over the four linked areas, with some rather hairy old single chairs higher up. Well organi…

Thank you so much for helping us to organise our trip to Japan, we had an absolutely amazing time! Everyone was super friendly, the food was delicious and the snow in Niseko was just insane! Not having to worry about how to get around made all the travelling totally stress free so we could just enjoy every minute of being in Japan.

The most amazing powder snow I have ever experienced even after 20 years of skiing in a range of resorts across Europe and the USA! Waist deep, dry and fluffy. With the clever glading of trees across the resorts, fresh tracks could regularly be found in the trees even later in the day. We stayed for a week at the end of February and I don't think it stopped snowing once! We had an awesome time! Th…

Niseko is a great resort, especially for off piste skiing, the powder is world class and for young children as the chilcare is first class.

Fabulous snow! Slow lifts, though, and much smaller skiing area than we're used to. But well worth it for the quality and quantity of the snow.

A great ski resort, we stayed in Niseko Village which links to the other three ski areas on Mount Annapuri via passes and lifts towards the tip of the volcano. Great tree skiing, lots of powder and a good system of lifts that get you to the links to the other ski areas. For the days when wind closes the top lifts a free bus service is included to the other ski areas. Lift staff extremely friendly …

Great ski area for all abilities, risk of getting stuck in wrong resort 'area' if wind picks up but an easy to use bus service (free if have all mountain pass) to get where you want. Off piste and night skiing was excellent and we got loads of powder! Try and get to the peak if it opens and get to the gates early for the best snow!

It really is very good despite all the people who tell you it's not so good. Something for everyone and the powder is just wonderful. Hanazono is such a beautiful ski area. Night skiing good in Hirafu but a bit limited elsewhere, shame the top liasons aren't kept open later.
