Great resort: nice size, helpful ski staff, good range of on/off piste skiing, wonderful snow.

A smaller resort, but no shortage of off-piste and backcountry terrain, as well as well-prepared pistes, and easy to get between the two ski areas that make up the resort. A good, friendly atmosphere, and popular with the Japanese, with a weekend influx from Sapporo.

A nice little resort with a small town and a very Japanese vibe. Some great food bargains to be had in Kitamoine town and lovely skiing up top.

Very small resort with limited skiing for our ability level. We're not quite ready for back country skiing so piste skiing was limiting and little opportunity for tree skiing. Resort itself was good with ability to catch bus into town for more reasonably priced meals and more variety.

Wonderful. Plenty to explore if you’re keen to go into the backcountry. Uncrowded, with a laid back vibe. The ticket office closes at 4.30 for those picking up prepaid ski passes.

Stayed in Furano town which made it easier for eating out in the evenings & there were some great places to eat. There was only one bus to the ski area in the morning which got a bit busy but wasn't a problem. Skied in a number of resorts in the area and all were great fun, would highly recommend White Rooms, the guiding service you set us up with as their local knowledge was brilliant.

We skied in Niseko Central (unguided), Rusutzu, Moiwa, Kiroro, Annupuri, Furano, Kamui & Asahidake (guided). All resorts were different and generally excellent for a day's skiing (or more with a guide) but would have been limited without a guide. Having the guides brought the resorts to life and enabled us to ski off-piste all day, explore the backcountry and experience Japanese tree skiing for …

Great skiing but less modern than other resorts.
