We did the Utah and Las Vegas road trip for Easter 2013 on a 14 day trip. It is an absolutely fantastic trip and well worth the initial journey time. We stayed at the Grand Summit in Canyons for 8 nights and the location, the hotel and the skiing were superb. We had powder and sunshine (often on the same day) and the skiing covers all requirements from cruising blues, tree-lined chutes, stunt parks (for the kids) and challenging black runs. The resort is compact but works well with pop concerts and events in the square for Easter. Overall we couldn't fault the location or the skiing on any level. From here we drove down to Bryce Canyon, taking the scenic route as recommended by James. The drive is part of the trip and the views are amazing. We stayed in the Best Western hotel on the edge of the park. There is nothing much to do in Bryce other than visit the canyon itself but that doesn't matter because the Canyon is so spectacular it takes a day to see all of the sights. we went horse-riding down into the main canyon and would recommend it to anyone (you don't even have to have ridden before!) just remember not to look over the side when going down some of the paths!! From Bryce we drove on to Zion National Park and again the drive was spectacular. We stayed 2 nights in the very aptly named Majestic View Lodge. This was great accommodation with free shuttles running through and into the park throughout the day and evening. Zion is a completely different experience to Bryce and it is definitely worth doing both to get the most out of the road trip. Finally we finished up with 3 nights at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After 11 days skiing and driving Vegas was a bit overwhelming for the first day but once you get your bearings and accept it for what it is (loud, brash, tacky in parts) Vegas is great. We were there with our teenage kids and there is plenty to do without spending time in casinos albeit you have to walk through them to get anywhere at all. This whole trip is a great experience and one we would recommend to anyone.

We have had an amazing holiday and loved every part of it. You knew you were onto a sure fire bet when you said if our kids still said they would have preferred LA and didn’t go “wow” when they saw Bryce and Zion you would refund that part of the trip. The skiing was great and the resort perfect. The road trip was spectacular ( followed your scenic route!) and Las Vegas was as over the top and as fun as we all expected (actually saw a wedding party of 12 Elvis’s having their wedding photo’s done at the welcome to LV sign). As ever the Ski Safari service has been amazing.

We had an experience and holiday of a life time. It was all that James said it would be. Ski Safari certainly know how to do it. Thank you. We are already thinking about Jackson Hole and Big Sky! USA Utah and Las Vegas: Awesome. Absolutely brilliant holiday and experience. Skiing fantastic. Bryce Canyon and Zion...what an experience. Scenery wonderful. Vegas... what can one say...certainly won't forget it. USA Park City: Fantastic. We skied 6 out of the 7 resorts. Wonderful experience.
