Big. That’s the word that usually springs to mind when people think about Whistler. With a 5000 ft vertical rise from the valley to the peak and 8000 acres of alpine bowls, chutes and tree skiing, they’re right. The trick is making the most of the mind-blowing terrain on offer. That’s where Extremely Canadian come in. Don't waste your time getting lost or missing out on those “local’s powder stashes”, with Extremely Canadian you’ll head straight off the lift and into the adventure of a lifetime.

On a Two Day Steep Skiing Clinic, you will discover both the best of Whistler Blackcomb’s insanely steep terrain. Extremely Canadian's dedicated coaches mix a potent cocktail of technical instruction, steep skiing tactics and local knowledge, to provide you with an insiders experience not to be found anywhere else.

Extremely Canadian is geared towards adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert skiers. If you can ski an un-groomed “Black Diamond” run at your home hill, then you belong! Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, optimal for honing your steep skiing skills. Combine with a serious amount of vertical, and you are assured guaranteed improvement, tired legs, and an unforgettable ski experience.

The clinics offer the adventurous skier two days of expert Extremely Canadian guiding, lift line priority, a guaranteed improvement in your steep skiing skills, and the infamous après-ski decompression session at Merlin’s bar and grill.

"When I am in Whistler I will always try to do an Extremely Canadian Steep Skiing Clinic. This two day camp is suitable for adventurous advanced intermediates and above, but whatever your level it will certainly challenge you and improve your skiing."
