Stayed in Nelson whilst skiing at whitewater. Great town. Some really nice little restaurants if you are prepared to head off the beaten track a little. Bibo was a personal favourite of ours. Best atmosphere of all Restaurants in town. Imaginative food etc. Town itself is a little 'alternative' but had a nice mountain vibe about it.

Experts only; good for a few days stay; cosy feel to 'resort' base lodge.
