I think this was our 6th time in this resort but had not been back for 8 years. As always the mountain terrain was fantastic, there are groomed runs, tree runs, off piste, challenging runs and beautiful scenic cruising slopes. Even more so than previously we were blown away but the snow. it snowed most days so there was always powder in places, hardly any packed hard snow and no ice. There are numerous options for lunch an dinner in the resort and on the mountain. Mostly pre-booking for dinner seems to be advisable but we also walked into a few places with no problem. Queues especially for the gondolas in the morning on some days were a lot longer than in previous years and it seemed generally busier but even on the busiest days the slopes never seem packed and you can still find yourself fairly alone on parts of the mountains. Throughout the resort the staff and other guests and locals are amazingly friendly and even in the longest queues there is no pushing forward and everyone is polite and courteous. We will definitely be back. Ski school for us and 7 year old was great but a shame the "Max 4" and "Ski Esprit" from previous years had been discontinued. Also lift and ski school prices have increased tremendously since our last visit. Nevertheless a fantastic resort that will suit every ability and even non-skiers with for example ziplining (an absolute must and definitely a highlight!) and the Whistler Escape room which great fun on no ski days.

Whistler has it all full stop. Great ski school and accessible slopes. The first double black diamond in North America and all the bowls, trees your heart desires. It is a BIG mountain and while the size gives something for everyone and brings fine dining and lower budget options too it may not be to everyone’s taste depending on what you want. None ski activities are also great

The village is great, everything you need all within a short walk of everywhere else. Food, drink and service all excellent everywhere we went. The mountain suffers from its reputation and popularity so you if you want a groomed run you need to get up early and be first in the (sometimes quite long) lift lines. By midday the hill is churned up because of all the people and the “groomed” runs are pretty lumpy.
