Great resort, plenty to do if not sking or boarding. The piste is very well maintained & the lift queues are very nice no pushing like in Europe.

Whistler has it all full stop. Great ski school and accessible slopes. The first double black diamond in North America and all the bowls, trees your heart desires. It is a BIG mountain and while the size gives something for everyone and brings fine dining and lower budget options too it may not be to everyone’s taste depending on what you want.
None ski activities are also great

The village is great, everything you need all within a short walk of everywhere else. Food, drink and service all excellent everywhere we went.
The mountain suffers from its reputation and popularity so you if you want a groomed run you need to get up early and be first in the (sometimes quite long) lift lines. By midday the hill is churned up because of all the people and the “groomed” runs are…

Fantastic skiing with so many different options on the two mountains allowing you to make the most of the different weather conditions at different altitudes etc. Only 4 out of 5 stars as mountain restaurants were disappointing this year with often vastly reduced options and closures due to staff shortages.

We stayed over Christmas and the resort was magical, beautifully decorated throughout. Canadians really are the most friendly people !!

Our 2nd Christmas trip to whistler and this one was even better: resort is so easy to navigate around, and with the tips from Ski Safari about where best to eat (and the discount vouchers) as well as how to avoid the lift que lines we made the most of a fabulous ski area.
