This is a big mountain and we only scratched the surface, some of the blues could be blue/blacks so be wary and do not over estimate your ability. Mountain catering was not as expensive as we thought it would be. Try the demo ski service, this is a great idea, for 2 hours you can road test the latest skis at no cost, just make sure you have your credit card, they do like ID as well.

Still a great ski town - ' Disneyland ' for skiers, with extensive terrain, good snow, and great facilities in the 'village'.

Stayed in the Four Seasons, Whistler for the second year running this Jan and everything about the resort and hotel gets better and better. Every ability of skier/boarder are more than catered for, with a huge variety of runs to enjoy. The Ski Concierge at the Four Seasons in Blackcomb adds the finishing touches and is an absolute joy.

Fantastic skiing due to easy access to both mountains. However, poor signage on slopes.

Fantastic resort, has everything, great terrain and great apres ski, very family friendly. Canadians are so friendly and welcoming, and everyone in resort is charming and helpful. We love skiing in North America, but Whistler is probably one of the best resorts we have been lucky enough to visit.

Huge variety of skiing terrain, all areas easily accessible from Creekside; despite Whistler's reputation for cloud, wind and rain it was usually possible to find good weather somewhere. Lots of powder and vast 'off-piste' options within the ski boundary. We travelled in late March/early April and had large snowfalls 50+cm across a week. The Ski Esprit part of ski-school is an enjoyable and sociab…

We came back from Canada on Monday 30th March 2008. Skiing is fantastic at Whister/Blackcomb, particularly with the new Peak to Peak. We don't like doing the same runs all week and didn't have to here. There is plenty to keep you going and we skied for 9 days. It snowed for most of the time we were there, but we did get three beautiful sunny days. Avoid the double blacks if you don't like moguls, …
