What a place, it is probably the best place we have ever been skiing

Brilliant Pistes, friendly locals, great coffee.
The best coffee by the way is hidden at the back of one of the bookshops. I wish I could recall the name of the bookshop though.

Great resort, huge, well managed, good restaurants with lots of on mountain wifi and plenty of fun black runs.

Nothing wrong with Whistler, it's a well planned, popular and fully functional resort, focussed on snow sports, but as such, we felt it was just lacking in a bit of character. We went to Banff last year and really loved the 'old town' feel and picturesque setting; you could escape to normality on an evening or have a day off without twiddling thumbs. Fairmont is ski in ski out which is brilliant with children, Great fun resort, slopes are empty and no queues, food is excellent everywhere that we went and all the people are incredibly friendly and helpful

A big ski area with well marked runs. Something for all abilities and well served by a free shuttle bus and integrated lift system.

The resort is a wonderful resort with good skiing for almost everyone, but not for a fist time or very inexperienced skier. Where you stay in the village depends on what you want. By the lifts if you want night life but could be a bit noisy ten min away very quite but still near restaurants and stores. Food is reasonably priced and a good selection and price range.

We stayed in Creekside which was fine for us but it was quiet and might not suit families with younger children or those groups wanting lots of bars, restaurants and nightlife. Also, travelling to and from Whistler Village via the paying bus was starting to get expensive. Upside to Creekside though no queuing for the Gondola, either up or down, at any time of the day.

Another perfect holiday in Whistler and it snowed every day! Whistler is ideal for skiers and non skiers there is plenty to do during the day and a huge choice of restaurants and bars for après ski and the evening.
