The hotel is excellent and very well located. The outdoor heated pool and leisure area is amazing, especially during a heavy snowfall. We booked a room in the 'Gold' section on the 8th floor. This has a private check in, concierge, and priority benefits in the ski lockers. We split our stay this trip between The Fairmont Gold in Blackcomb, and Nita Lake Lodge in Creekside. The Fairmont is a very large property, but the Gold Floor Hotel within a hotel feels calm and intimate. Nita Lake Lodge is a more casual property but the staff are helpful and the rooms are superb. From arrival to departure, nothing was ever too much trouble. Staff were cordial and professional throughout our stay. Spacious. Quality products from the towelling robes down to the soap.
