Blackcomb Springs Suites Customer Reviews

Staying at the Coast feels like home. The studio room we had is very spacious and ideal for us. The location of the Coast is great, right on the ski run down to Blackcomb base, and it's nice to be able to ride to and from the hotel. There's been some minor renovations to the lobby/breakfast area with new carpet, tables and chairs. The breakfast is basic but adequate, but does get crowded. The drinks machines were empty when we arrived and were never restocked during our stay and the small shop had no diet drinks available. Housekeeping was a little hit and miss, sometimes they would come very early, other times after 3pm and on a couple of occasions not at all.

Excellent accommodation, everyone helpful and friendly. Brilliant to be able to snowboard in and out every day, hot tubs were lovely. Breakfast has a big selection of fruit, yoghurt, English muffins, American muffins, white, brown, multigrain bread and fruit bread! Freshly made waffles. Lots of choice of jam, honey, peanut butter and hard boiled eggs. You are allowed to take breakfast back to your room which was great! There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate on offer in the lounge/breakfast room in the afternoon which was great after a day of snowboarding. It would be good if there were more tables available for breakfast as there wasn't enough room for some people to sit down on 2 days!

Location next to piste perfect for early morning skiing. This does make it a bit out on a limb, however excellent quick bus service till late at night - we never waited more than 5 minutes. Free breakfast is plentiful with good choice, massive compared to Europe. Free tea and coffee all day. Free wifi. Standard rooms are well equipped and spacious. Decor seemed fine to me not tired as other reviews have said. Overall nice hotel, would have been good to have a bar when you didn't want to go into the village.
